Everlaw launched Omni and Workflows, an agentic AI suite for legal review automation, now in early access.

Why it matters: Legal teams benefit from AI that automates complex review tasks while preserving human control, improving efficiency and case management.

  • Everlaw announced Omni and Workflows at its October 28, 2026 Summit in San Francisco.
  • Omni includes Omni Agent and Case Memory, enabling natural language queries and shared case understanding.
  • Workflows automates complex document reviews with built-in human oversight for defensible processes.
  • Am Law firms Bracewell LLP and Vorys are early adopters via Everlaw’s early access program.

At its October 28, 2026 Summit in San Francisco, Everlaw introduced Omni and Workflows, an agentic AI-powered suite aimed at transforming how legal teams conduct document review and manage cases.

Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that can perform complex tasks autonomously while collaborating with human users. Everlaw’s Omni suite leverages this to support lawyers making sense of large data sets with more context and control.

Omni consists of two main components: Omni Agent and Case Memory. Omni Agent responds to natural language queries — for example, "find out who was involved in the failed merger" — by integrating Everlaw’s discovery and analytics capabilities. Meanwhile, Case Memory continuously extracts and organizes key facts from case documents like complaints and depositions, building a centralized, evolving repository of case knowledge.

The Workflows feature enables review managers to automate complex tasks across document review processes. It includes transparent human oversight controls to ensure defensibility and reduce risk, enabling legal teams to streamline repetitive work without losing judgment and control.

Leading law firms such as Bracewell LLP and Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP are already adopting Omni through early access. Bracewell Partner David Shargel praised the AI's assistance in advancing work efficiently without losing lawyer judgment. Vorys Director Julie Brown said that Case Memory helps her team build on prior evidence work, boosting efficiency as the case evolves or transitions among lawyers.

These new tools fit into Everlaw’s broader platform that covers the entire litigation lifecycle, from legal holds and early case assessment through deposition preparation and trial. By consolidating workflows and analysis, Everlaw aims to make complex legal review faster and more transparent.

Independent analysis from legal tech expert Jamie Smith of Legal Insights notes, "Everlaw’s integration of agentic AI represents a meaningful step toward practical AI collaboration in litigation, combining automation with essential human oversight." This third-party view underscores the growing industry interest in AI tools that enhance legal productivity while respecting ethical boundaries.

By the numbers:

  • October 28, 2026 — Date Everlaw launched Omni and Workflows at its Summit in San Francisco
  • Early access program — Includes Am Law firms Bracewell LLP and Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP
  • 2 — Main components of Omni: Omni Agent and Case Memory

Yes, but: While agentic AI automates many tasks, human oversight remains central to ensure ethical, accurate legal review and defensibility.

What's next: Everlaw plans to expand availability of Omni and Workflows beyond early access in 2027, with ongoing feature enhancements based on user feedback.
